As of this typing Roberto Luongo has made 57 saves and is in the third overtime. The best I can do is go 2 for 4 on the night. It's a long road though.

To the lady in the bus shelter; I'm talking about a woman sitting at the end of one bench as I sit at the far end of the other bench and she picks up her cake (which was on the bench next to her) and lays it on her lap. FUCK YOU!!! Do I really look like a cake stealer? Like the whole reason I came into this particular bus shelter was to run away with your god damn boring vanilla cake. It had nothing to do with the rain at all. I hate people.
Which brings me to my next question? Are you ever sitting next to someone and then you just start thinking about random stuff you could do to them? Face punching? Tripping them up as they walk by? Pointing and laughing? etc. I do it a lot. But then when I start thinking about it too much I think "what if they can read my mind and plan on doing it to me?" and then I catch myself staring at them. Too weird.
Anyway.
I have a nice camera but I never use it. Why?

Hmmm . . . . so I started smoking again. Probably not the greatest idea but I don't recall joining any good idea contests so I suppose I do not have too much to worry about in that regards. I like smoking. I wish I didn't but it's just so damn delicious. Ya hear me big tobacco? I love you!

Living here with Heather and not being with here is so weird. Sometimes its awesome. We get along as good (if not better) than when we first met. We're both being nice to each other. No nit-picking or financial qualms whatsoever. It's weird that the only thing that has changed is that we are no longer in a "relationship." Kinda funny I suppose. I know I made the right call and I hope to be able to remain good friends with her, always.

That being said I'm really looking forward to getting my own spot. End of April, downtown. Those are my only qualifications thusfar. If anyone knows of a place or a friend looking for a roommate, hook me up. I think Mark (Denine) is going to move out with me, which would be awesome. I'm a fairly clean person who does not mind smoking outside and can usually pay rent on time. I would make the ideal roommate.

What a difference a few days can make

Outside my living room window.

I think the long days just get to me. Daylight savings time sucks my ass and drains me of all will to do anything productive. I need to find a way out but the further south I move the more United States I become. A dilemma, truly. All I have the urge to do all day is sleep in. Then when I do decide to get out of bed it is usually just so I can sit down, watch a show, movie or hockey game and little else. How boring am I? I haven't even been helping out much around this shit-hole we call a house. I hate this house.

It's so drafty everywhere. The landlord needs to invest in some new doors and some god damn pink insulation. I am FREEZING all the time. Heather thinks I need to get blood work done. As she is cold some of the time, she doesn't let me touch her skin because she screams so loudly. Kinda funny sometimes.

I have a staff party next weekend. I'm looking forward to the actual party but not so much the exchange of Secret Santa presents. Everyone is buying booze for the people they have chosen. I can not do that however because of course I chose the Methodist out of the bag and now am stuck with no clue as to what she would like. She doesn't offer up any hints whatsoever and apparently a basket full of soap and oil screams "you smell" moreso than "have a nice bath."

In other news, I will no longer have a cellular phone as of December 13th. My new home phone number is 754-9916. Feel free to call me. When I first got the cell phone I thought it was the best thing ever but now I can not wait to rid myself of it. I hate Telus and I hate the god damn inconvenience of always being available. Yes, I could turn my phone off but then it seems counter-productive to even be carrying or paying for it. Living without text messaging will take some getting used to though. Those are so much better than actual phone calls.

In other news, I am broke and will gladly accept all Christmas donations at my front door. Turkeys, chocolates, trees, wrapping paper, mistletoe can all be dropped off at 77 Flower Hill. Feel free to drop in over Christmas as well. More posts to follow I hope. Peace!

I was thinking about why I am not "online" very often. The fact is I spend a good few hours a day at or around the internet but I'm not often available for contact. The reason being that I hate MSN Messenger. It is too big and clumsy. It slows down my rather old PC. It has too many features I don't use or need. Does anyone else feel this way?

Google Talk is a instant messaging program by Google that does everything I need it to. It sends messages to people. If they are not there it gives you the option to send them the message in e-mail form. You can call people using your microphone. Again, if they're not there, you can e-mail them a voicemail. It's interface is very simple, it is small so it takes no time to download and it doesn't feel like a prison gaurds hand reaching from behind on my computers scared shoulders.

I'm hoping more people sign up this service soon because I hate having to load up the beast just to talk to people.

Well, after two and a half months of the store being opened I finally get a weekend day off. It seems kind of foreign to me but I am going to enjoy it to the best of my ability anyway. Soccer, sadly, is not an option as I have a familial obligation but I wish the Bannerman FC group the best of luck and hope they enjoy the day, it seems beautiful outside.

Hockey starts on Wednesday and I couldn't be more excited. I filled out four hockey pools last night that my dad directed me to through various facets of work. I have two with Curly, Justin and my brother. On Wednesday night I am attending a live draft pool as well at Smittys in Mt. Pearl. Free meal and hockey banter . . . can't go wrong.

Speaking of the pools with Curly and Justin, I have some webspace and was going to set up a web forum so we could have our own outlet to talk trash and whatnot. I know I hate the Yahoo Fantasy Sports Bulletin Board System and we could easily have something a lot better. Andrew, if you are up for this, just let me know.

Heather has a job interview today at Petcetera, a new pet store opening out in Kelsey Drive. I'm excited for her. Really nervous too as she woke up at 5am having the most massive panic attack I've seen her have in quite some time. I'm lending her my ipod so she doesn't get as freaked out by the bus ride. My walk to my aunts may be lonelier without it but I'm just that kina guy, goddammit.

Heather won 4 movie passes to a new Ewan McGregor movie tomorrow morning. Of course I am working and won't be able to go. Of course!

I really want an egg in the hole but sadly I am out of eggs. I think I will have a whole wheat BLT wrap instead. RIDICULOUS!

Hockey starts SUPER soon. I'm so excited. Going to a live hockey draft on Wednesday with the crowd from dads work at Smittys Restaurant in Mt. Pearl. They have rented the conference room and plan on having a projector hooked up to laptop to display real-time draft happenings. Sounds geeky to most, I'm sure, but I have been anticipating it for weeks.

Time to have a chocolate mint cigarello, then a bite to eat. Might trim the ol' beard today as well. It's getting mangy.
